About the customer

Bikeid is a Scandinavian company that designs well-crafted bicycle for urban commuting. They have one shop located in Stockholm, but most of their sales are conducted online. They ship the bikes across Europe in a few detached pieces that the customer has to assemble upon arrival. They also sell accessories, but it represents a small portion of their revenue. While people order their bike from abroad, they generally tend to buy accessories locally. Bikeid wanted to implement a giveaway campaign of its accessories for its customers in order to increase brand awareness around this segment. They wanted to make an impression on their customers.

AirGift implementation

BikeId found out about how one can attach physical rewards to a NFT. They used Airgift solution to create a collection with hundreds of NFTs each associated with a different accessories to giveaway. “Our IT team wasoverwhelmed with requests, and didn’t have the time to research how to implement a NFTs giveaway campaign. Airgift came in handy with an easy-to-use platform to organize, set up and track the results of our campaign”  

Customers received an email from Bikeid with a link to retrieve a NFT, and discover which accessories they were given for free. In order to facilitate the logistic behind the campaign, Bikeid used Airgift built-in “physical rewards” feature that allows for the beneficiaries to enter their address once they retrieve the NFT. 3 days later, the customers could try Bikeid accessories.

Airgift solution integrated to our emailing system and a couple of minutes later the 600 hundred emails with a retrieve link were sent. We were then able to monitor the progress of the campaign through the dashboard: within hours, 400 customers had claimed their accessory already.”
